What it takes to qualify
Be chosen by the person you care for
Home Help is consumer-directed. Your loved one names you as their caregiver — you don't apply to us for a job, you enroll together.
Pass a background check
A standard criminal history check is required. Most minor, older items are not disqualifying — ask us before you assume.
No certificate or license required
You do not need to be a CNA or HHA. If you already know how to help someone bathe, eat, dress, and get around safely, you qualify.
Keep timesheets
You log the hours you work each pay period. We show you exactly how, and we file everything with the state for you.
